  over the past few days i have twice visited screwfix - a uk nationwide company which sells tools & fixings.. on my first visit, i informed the store assistant of the item i required.

  she immediately said, "post-code?".

  i informed her that it was a cash sale and there was no need to give information.

  Over the past few days I have twice visited SCREWFIX - a UK nationwide company which sells tools & fixings.

  On my first visit, I informed the store assistant of the item I required. She immediately said, "POST-CODE?"

  I informed her that it was a CASH SALE and there was no need to give information. "OK" she said, and then called out to a supervisor to key in a code number on the computer terminal in order to process my order. (WHY?)

  Two days later I returned. Same girl. When I gave her the order, she said "NAME?"

  I said, "It's a cash sale, I don't want to receive love-letters from Screwfix." She had to request the code number again!

  If I buy a newspaper or a Snickers bar, I don't get asked for my name, address, & postcode.

  Maybe next time I go into Screwfix I should just wear one of these -

  i thought i'd better get in first, so i punched him as hard as i could..

  Regional Convention - Greenville, SC USA

  so my brother who never got baptized went to the convention today (went to make mom and dad happy since they are devastated that i am out) and he got very upset during the baptism talk and walked out because 3 of the candidates were under the age of 12 years of age.

  he said they have no clue what they are committing themselves to and will face what you faced (referring to me).

  i really wish the usa government would start cracking down on this cult..

  i should preface my comments by pointing out that i have no aversion to being disfellowshipped.

  i fully expect that to happen.

  all of my immediate family and a great deal of my extended family have moved on with me and we all enjoy a full and satisfying life.

  A simple statement which I'm prepared to use if my still-in friends ever confront me when they visit:

  "I'm very willing for us to discuss the various scriptures which I feel are not presented as current truth by the "slave." J.W.'s are averse to discussing scriptures which another JW sees in a totally different light.

  Simple example:

  Brother/sister, Revelation 7:14 speaks about a "great tribulation." Do you think it's accurate to say that it refers to the great tribulation at Matthew 24:21, or would you reason that the angel is referring to the great tribulation which he'd mentioned only a few minutes earlier in his conversation with John, at Revelation 2:22? How can something which Jesus said would never occur again, have a greater fulfilment?

  Rabbit-in-the-headlights moment, followed by incoherent ramblings from the cult's literature.

  OCT 2019 Watchtower - Survival dependant on loyalty to JW Leaders

  there is so much wrong with the newly released october, 2019 but that's not unusual.

  what stands out is there statement claiming that survival through armageddon depends on loyalty to those 'taking the lead'.

  since they claim there will be a point during the gt that they (the gb) won't be physically around, jws must still be loyal to jw leaders.. whats interesting in this article is that they make it clear that they, the governing body are going to take part, from heaven, in the war of armageddon.

  You cannot be a true Christian if -

  a) you have anything to do with Babylon the Great, especially doing paid work on their property

  b) you offer to conclude a business contract with them......
